Well guys i am back from trini I had a wonderful crime free, funfilled carnival. Trinidad really do have the best carnival. The build up to carnival was the best with Machel and Destra etc.. Island People gave me money worth and the wildness was to much to mention. So back to cold ass london.. stress, depression, skint, boredom! Why do we torture ourselves in this country. The reason for me coming here 10+ years has evaded my memory. But, I am going to think positive and make a difference in whatever little way i can. I am thinking of organising a social network for 30+ to go to theatre, parties, lime, explore the english culture, reminisce about back home, to provide support and help build each other professionally etc. You may say why this age grp 1) I am in that age bracket lol. 2) People this age seem to all of a sudden come homebuds waiting to die. Forgetting their vision due to outside influences. 3) People sometime need company to do things and if you have a group that can meet monthly or whenever, it makes you look forward to meeting up. I am still playing with the thoughts and it would be good to see if you can email me if interested and i will develop the network. Back to cooking Sunday Dinner. Exciting

Believe me Trinidad was real good and we all wined down low for carnival.
I have only been back 1 week and feel the same way this country real boring but I think your idea is a good one, so count me in.

Allyuh start to see a little sun and feel like doing something. lol.
Ok, for our first outing, how much allyuh want to spend bearing in mind credit crunch?
I suggest beginning July.
1) Go for a drink to meet everyone 2) Picnic in park/bowling 3) Fete schedule/ event schedule - cinema etc 4) We decide which one we want to go to.
Email me either directly or via forum. So we can discuss in more detail.
